The direct racecourse support work previously carried out by the HRI Marketing Department will in future fall under the responsibility of the Director of Racing, Jason Morris, to fit in with his work on fixtures and programmes.

Commenting on the new structures HRI Chief Executive Brian Kavanagh said: “these new posts will enhance our service to all stakeholders in Irish racing and add resources to the growing overseas market for the Irish thoroughbred. Racing has shown great resilience in coping with the recession and we are confident that we can play a positive role in economic recovery in coming years.”
