Yellow Rosebud (by Jeremy) has won the Group 3 Derrinstown Stud 1000 Guineas Trial over 1m at Leopardstown, thereby giving her young sire a first pattern winner from his first crop.
The three-year-old is trained by Dermot Weld and she was bred by the Irish National Stud. The filly is out of Nebraas (by Green Desert) and that makes her a half-sister to the stakes winning sprinter Seeharn (by Pivotal). The mare is a half-sister to the Group 1 winning sprinter Malhub (by Kingmambo).
Jeremy (by Danehill Dancer), who stands at the Irish National Stud, is out of a half-sister to the Japanese superstar Deep Impact (by Sunday Silence), sire of this year's mile classic stars Beauty Parlour and Gentildonna.
