Camelot (by Montjeu) has maintained his unbeaten record with victory in the Group 1 Qipco 2000 Guineas Stakes over 1m at Newmarket.
The Aidan O'Brien trained colt, who was bred by Sheikh Abdulla Bin Isa Al-Khalifa, is a 525,000gns graduate of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale in Newmarket. He is out of the Group 3 scorer Tarfah (by Kingmambo) who is, in turn, out of Fickle (by Danehill). That 10f stakes winner is a half-sister to the Listed Oaks Trial winner Birdie (by Alhaarth).
Montjeu (by Sadler's Wells) stood at Coolmore Stud until his recent death.
