Grade 1 Triumph Hurdle goes to son of Haafhd

Countrywide Flame (by Haafhd) has won the Grade 1 JCB Triumph Hurdle over 2m1f at Cheltenham.

The four-year-old is trained by John Quinn and he was bred by Michael Clarke. He is a half-brother to the dual flat stakes winning miler Party Boss (by Silver Patriarch) and he won four times on the level before going jumping. His dam Third Party (by Terimon) is a winning half-sister to the pattern winning sprinter Passion For Life (by Charmer).

Haafhd (by Alhaarth) stands at Beechwood Grange Stud in Yorkshire.
