Pitchall Farm stallion Midnight Legend (by Night Shift) has been represented by both the winner and third place finisher in the Listed DBS/EBF Mares' Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race Final over 2m110y at Sandown.
Call Me A Star, who is trained by Alan King and bred by her owner Mrs K Holmes, won narrowly from Umadachar (by Turgeon). The Anthony Honeyball trained Eleven Fifty Nine was third and these three mares finished a long way clear of the rest.
Call Me A Star is out of Second Call (by Kind Of Hush) and she is a full-sister to two winners including the blacktype placed Call Me A Legend who has won two bumpers, twice of hurdles and a pair of chases.
