Zebedee showed plenty of speed on the track and his first crop of foals are like wise, judging by reports from Tally-Ho Stud, where the son of Invincible Spirit stands.
His first crop of foals arrived this week at the farm and were led by a filly out of Blance Dubois (Dam of Group placed winners Middlemarch and Lady High Havens), followed up by a colt out of Temintoul Singer, a Listed placed half sister to Hilary Needler Trophy winner Geesala).
The following day two more Zebedee foals arrived with Alexander Family (a full sister to the Listed placed Prince Of Denmark) producing a filly and Dorn Hill (dam a half sister to College Chapel) producing a colt.
Trained by Richard Hannon, Zebedee’s six victories included the Flying Childers Stakes (Gr2) at Doncaster and the Molecomb Stakes (Gr3) at Goodwood. He retired to stud in 2011 and proved to be one of the most popular of the first season sires at stud with a full book of 160 mares.
