IT started with a whimper but ended with a flourish. The two sessions of the Tattersalls Craven Breeze-Up Sale could not have been more different. A quiet first session was followed by buoyant trade on day two and Irish vendors completely dominated proceedings. All but one of the top 10 vendors were Irish consignors, with Willie Browne’s Mocklershill (1,960,000gns) and Norman Williamson’s Oak Tree Farm (a million guineas) leading the way.
