IT’s not every week that we use a photograph of a fourth-placed pony but today we have to give pride of place to Bailey who filled that position in the young handlers’ class at last Saturday’s Armagh County Agricultural Show and Country Festival.

Bailey was shown by Saintfield’s Katie Donnelly who has endured a very painful time since being stood on by ‘a’ pony last January and, more recently, when she fell seriously ill with an infection in the bone. The nine-year-old got out of hospital just over a month ago and was only back walking ‘fully sound’ for a week when travelling with the rest of the family to Gosford Park.
