  • Muhaarar completed a hat-trick at the highest level when taking the Group 1 LARC Prix Maurice de Gheest over six and a half furlongs at Deauville. Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum's homebred three-year-old is trained by Charlie Hills and he is a son of the Banstead Manor Stud stallion Oasis Dream (by Green Desert). His dam Tahrir (by Linamix) comes from the family of the Group 1 stars Timarida (by Kalaglow) and Relkino (by Relko).

  • Air Force Blue won the Group 1 Keeneland Phoenix Stakes over six furlongs at the Curragh, a second win from three starts for the previously Group 2-placed son of War Front (by Danzig). A $490,000 Keeneland graduate who is bred by Stone Farm, his stakes-placed dam Chatham (by Maria's Mon) is out of a full-sister to Flanders (by Seeking The Gold), the Grade 1-winning dam of the multiple Grade 1 star Surfside (by Seattle Slew).

  • Second Step won the Group 1 125th Grosser Preis von Berlin over 12 furlongs at Hoppegarten, a second pattern success for Merry Fox Stud's homebred four-year-old. A gelded son of Gilltown Stud stallion Dalakhani (by Darshaan), he is trained by Luca Cumani, and he is out of My Dark Rosaleen (by Sadler's Wells), a full-sister to the Group 2 scorer Silk And Scarlet. That filly became the dam of the Group/Grade 1 stars Eishin Apollon (by Giant's Causeway), Master Of The Hounds (by Kingmambo), and Minorette (by Smart Strike).

  • Mattmu won the Group 3 Qatar Racing & Equestrian Club Phoenix Sprint Stakes over six furlongs at the Curragh, adding to a Group 2 success in France last year. James Bowers's homebred three-year-old is trained by Tim Easterby and he is a son of Indesatchel (by Danehill Dancer), who joined the team at Bearstone Stud in 2007. His dam Katie Boo (by Namid) was a prolific winner and her stakes-placed dam Misty Peak (by Sri Pekan) is a half-sister to the stakes-placed multiple winner Golly Gosh (by Danehill).

  • Loresho won the Group 3 OSAF Prix de Reux over 12 and a half furlongs at Deauville, a first pattern success for the son of Halling (by Diesis). H.H. the Aga Khan's homebred four-year-old is out of Luna Gulch (by Gulch), a daughter of the Group 2-placed pattern scorer Luna Mareza (by Saumarez).

  • Intilaaq was an impressive winner of the Group 3 Betfred Rose of Lancaster Stakes over 10 and a half furlongs at Haydock, a third win from five starts for the Roger Varian-trained three-year-old. Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum's homebred son of Dynaformer (by Roberto) is out of the Group 1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches (French 1000 Guineas) heroine Torrestrella (by Orpen) and so is a half-brother to the pattern-winning sprinter Farmah (by Speightstown).

  • Blue Bayou won the Group 3 German-Thoroughbred.com Sweet Solera Stakes over seven furlongs at Newmarket, a second win from three starts for the Group 2-placed juvenile. She is trained by Brian Meehan, was bred by Wellsummers Farm, and she is a daughter of the National Stud stallion Bahamian Bounty (by Cadeaux Genereux). She is a half-sister to the Group 2 scorer Hatta Fort (by Cape Cross) and her dam Oshiponga (by Barathea) is a half-sister to the Grade 1 E P Taylor Stakes heroine Miss Keller (by Montjeu).

Bred by Commonwealth, his winning dam Last Love (by Danehill) comes from a branch of the family of classic stars Dr Devious (by Ahonoora) and Dancing Rain (by Danehill Dancer).

  • Zannda was a narrow winner of the Group 3 Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Give Thanks Stakes over 12 furlongs at Cork, a first blacktype success for H H the Aga Khan's homebred three-year-old. The Dermot Weld-trained bay is by the late Gilltown Stud stallion Azamour (by Night Shift), she is the first foal out of the 12 furlong scorer Zanoubiya (by Dalakhani), and she comes from the family of the undefeated Arc heroine Zarkava (by Zamindar).
