  • Turfdonna won the 157th Henkel-Preis der Diana – German Oaks over 11 furlongs at Dusseldorf, giving Sunnyhill Stud stallion Doyen (by Sadler's Wells) a winner at the highest level. The Andreas Wohler-trained three-year-old was bred by Gestut Auenquelle, she is a half-sister to the stakes-placed Turfflamme (by Lomitas) and her dam Turfaue (by Big Shuffle) is a full-sister to the Group 1 Premio Lydia Tesio heroine Turfrose.

  • Tourny won the Group 3 Prix de Cabourg – Jockey Club de Turquie over six furlongs at Deauville. The Pascal Bary-trained juvenile was bred by the partnership of Haras du Logis and J Ince, and she is a member of the final French-conceived crop of Country Reel (by Danzig), who now stands in Turkey. She is a full-sister to the juvenile stakes winner Make It Reel and her dam Maka (by Slickly) is out of a half-sister to the middle-distance Group 2 scorer Califet (by Freedom Cry).

  • Group 1 1000 Guineas heroine Legatissimo was short-headed in the Group 1 Oaks at Epsom and in the Group 1 Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh, but easily won the Group 1 Qatar Nassau Stakes (British Champions Series) over 10 furlongs at Goodwood. The David Wachman-trained daughter of retired Coolmore sire Danehill Dancer (by Danehill) was bred by Newsells Park Stud. Her dam Yummy Mummy (by Montjeu) is a full-sister to the Group 1 Irish Derby and Group 1 Gold Cup hero Fame And Glory.

  • Bourree won the Group 3 Prix de Psyche over 10 furlongs at Deauville, a second pattern success for the first-crop daughter of Haras de Bonneval stallion Siyouni (by Pivotal). The Andreas Lowe-trained three-year-old was bred by Claudia and Alexander Rom. She is out of Bearlita (by Lomitas), an unraced daughter of the dual stakes winner Bearall (by Al Hareb).

  • Muthmir won the Group 2 Qatar King George Stakes over five furlongs at Goodwood, a second win at that level this year for the William Haggas-trained five-year-old. Bred by Sunderland Holdings Ltd, he is a gelded son of the Irish National Stud stallion Invincible Spirit (by Green Desert), he is a full-brother to the stakes-placed Aneedah and a half-brother to the Group 3 scorer My Titania (by Sea The Stars). His dam Fairy Of The Night (by Night Shift) is a stakes-winning half-sister to Dress Rehearsal (by Galileo), the Grade 3-winning dam of the listed-placed three-year-old Christophermarlowe (by Tapit).

  • Amy Eria sprang a 33/1 surprise in the Group 3 L'Ormarins Queens Plate Stakes (registered as the Oak Tree Stakes) over seven furlongs at Goodwood, a second blacktype success for the Francois Rohaut-trained four-year-old. She was bred by Daniel Chassagneux, she is a daughter of Kildangan Stud stallion Shamardal (by Giant's Causeway), and her stakes-placed dam Berroscoberro (by Octagonal) comes from the immediate family of the Grade 1-placed stakes winners Myrakalu (by Kaldoun) and New Regent (by Vice Regent).

  • Malabar won the Group 3 Bonhams Thoroughbred Stakes over a mile at Goodwood, adding to her victory in the Group 3 Prestige Stakes over seven at the same festival last year. The Mick Channon-trained chesnut was bred by Woodcote Stud Ltd, she is a daughter of the Kildangan Stud stallion Raven's Pass (by Elusive Quality), and her dam Whirly Bird (by Nashwan) is a half-sister to the Group 3 scorer Ursa Major (by Galileo). The third dam is the high-class Inchmurrin (by Lomond), dam of the pattern scorer and successful sire Inchinor (by Ahonoora).

  • Dubday, a winner at the highest level in Qatar, won the Group 3 Betfred Glorious Stakes over 12 furlongs at Goodwood, his first international pattern success. The five-year-old is trained by Jassim Al Ghazali and he was bred by Southcourt Stud. He is a son of Dalham Hall Stud's Dubawi (by Dubai Millennium), he is out of Dayrose (by Daylami) and that mare's siblings include Rambling Rose (by Cadeaux Genereux), the Group 2-placed, stakes-winning dam of the triple Group 1 star and successful sire Notnowcato (by Inchinor).

The Michael Bell-trained four-year-old is a gelded son of the Drakenstein Stud stallion Duke Of Marmalade (by Danehill), and he was bred by Stetchworth & Middle Park Studs. His dam Miss Brown To You (by Fasliyev) is a winning half-sister to Military Attack (by Oratorio) and her grandam is the Group 1 Irish 1000 Guineas heroine Al Bahathri (by Blushing Groom).

She was bred by Barronstown Stud, she is a half-sister to the Group 2-placed Maxentius (by Holy Roman Emperor), and her unraced dam Guantanamera (by Sadler's Wells) is out of Bluffing (by Darshaan), a stakes-placed half-sister to the Group 2-placed stakes winner Feminine Wiles (by Ahonoora).

  • Easy Road won the Group 3 Polar Cup over seven furlongs at Ovrevoll, a first pattern success for the Cathrine Erichsen-trained son of Whitsbury Manor Stud stallion Compton Place (by Indian Ridge). He was bred by Michael Broughton, his siblings include current winning juvenile Show Me Again (by Showcasing), and his dam Broughtons Revival (by Pivotal) is a triple middle-distance scorer from a branch of the family of Grade 1 Kentucky Derby hero Giacomo (by Holy Bull).

  • Last year's Listed Norsk Derby hero Eye In The Sky won the Group 3 Oslo Cup over 12 furlongs at Ovrevoll, a third blacktype success for the Niels Petersen-trained son of Haras de Bonneval stallion Sinndar (by Grand Lodge). He was bred by Haras de la Perelle and his winning dam Saudade (by Linamix) is a half-sister to the Group 1 Derby Italiano winner and Group 1 Irish Derby runner-up Gentlewave (by Monsun).

  • Solow won the Group 1 Qatar Sussex Stakes (British Champions Series) (sponsored by Qatar Petroleum) over a mile at Goodwood, beating the game Arod (by Teofilo) by a shorter margin than expected. It is a fourth consecutive Group 1 success for the Wertheimer brothers' homebred five-year-old, a gelded son of the late Dalham Hall Stud stallion Singspiel (by In The Wings). He is trained by Freddy Head. He is out of the pattern-placed High Maintenance (by Highest Honor), his grandam is the Group 2 Prix de Royallieu winner Fabulous Hostess (by Fabulous Dancer), and notable horses in the family include the Group 1 Pretty Polly Stakes heroine Thistle Bird (by Selkirk).

  • Highland Reel, a son of multiple champion sire Galileo (by Sadler's Wells), won the Group 3 Neptune Investment Management Gordon Stakes over 12 furlongs at Goodwood, a second pattern success for the classic-placed three-year-old. The Aidan O'Brien-trained bay was bred by the Hveger Syndicate and his dam, Hveger (by Danehill), is a Group 1-placed full-sister to the Group 1 star Elvstroem and a half-sister to the Group 1 scorer Haradasun (by Fusaichi Pegasus).

  • Kachy maintained his unbeaten record with victory in the Group 3 Fairmount Molecomb Stakes over five furlongs at Goodwood. The Tom Dascombe-trained juvenile was bred by Denniff Farms Ltd, he is a son of the Cheveley Park Stud stallion Kyllachy (by Pivotal), and he is another fine example of how Dubai Destination (by Kingmambo) is performing as a broodmare sire. His dam Dubai Bounty (by Dubai Destination) won three times and is out of the 2004 Group 3 Molecomb Stakes runner-up Mary Read (by Bahamian Bounty).

  • Toormore, juvenile champion of 2013, won the Group 2 Qatar Lennox Stakes over seven furlongs at Goodwood. The Richard Hannon-trained colt was bred by BEC Bloodstock, he is a son of the Ballyhane Stud stallion Arakan (by Nureyev) and he is a half-brother to the dual Group 2 scorer Estidhkaar (by Dark Angel). His dam Danetime Out (by Danetime) is a grand-daughter of the juvenile Group 3 sprint winner Peace Girl (by Dominion).

The Hugo Palmer-trained juvenile was bred by Brian O'Rourke, he is the first foal out of Galicuix (by Galileo), a half-sister to the Group 1 winning sprinter Goldream (by Oasis Dream).
