Nathaniel completes two notable doubles
Nathaniel (by Galileo) has won the Group 1 Coral-Eclipse (British Champions Series) over 10f at Sandown, thereby completing both a notable personal double and also one for his family and team.
Last year the colt won the Group 1 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes.
Lady Rothchild's homebred four-year-old is a full-brother to Great Heavens, who was such an impressive winner of the Group 2 Lancashire Oaks at Haydock this afternoon. Both are trained by John Gosden. Nathaniel is also part-owned by Newsells Park Stud, where he is due to take up stallion duties when his career on the track is complete.
Galileo (by Sadler's Wells) stands at Coolmore Stud.
