Big Shuffle colt wins Gr2 Derby Italiano
Feuerblitz (by Big Shuffle) has won the Group 2 129th Derby Italiano Better over 11f at Capannelle.
The colt was bred by Gestüt Park Wiedingen and he is trained by Michael Figge. He is out of Flamingo Island (by Acatenengo) who is a full-sister to the Group 2 Preis der Diana (German Oaks) heroine Flamingo Road and a half-sister to the pattern winning Flamingo Paradise (by Rainbow Quest). Her siblings also include Flamingo Sea (by Woodman) who is the winning dam of the Group 1 Irish Derby scorer Frozen Fire (by Montjeu).
Big Shuffle (by Super Concorde) stood at Gestüt Auenquelle. He died in 2009.
