JODIE O’Keeffe and Robbie Kearns took the top honours in the Land Rover CCI* and Tredstep Ireland CCIJ* classes at Tattersalls International Horse Trials and Country Fair in association with Horse Sport Ireland today.

O’Keeffe, partnered with Kachemire Le Beau, went straight into the lead right at the outset of competition and maintained it throughout all stages to land the Land Rover CCI* at Tattersalls on a score of 40.

Her nearest rival was Britain’s William Fox-Pitt on Reinstated.

In the Tredstep Ireland CCIJ*, Ireland’s Robbie Kearns and Garrybritt Bonny took the title finishing on a score of 48.80.

Next best was Britain’s Alex Kennedy with Chocolate Domino who finished on the tightest margin of 48.90.

Meanwhile, Britain’s Flora Harris leads the George Mernagh Memorial CIC*** at Tattersalls.

The dressage phase of the class concluded yesterday (Friday) evening and Harris and Cesano H took the lead on a score of 35.90 ahead of New Zealand’s Mark Todd and NZB Campino on 36.90.

Best of the Irish contenders is Olympian Joseph Murphy who lies in 14th position with Electric Cruise on a score of 44.80.

The show jumping and cross-country will conclude the George Mernagh Memorial CIC*** tomorrow, Sunday May 31st, with show jumping starting at 8.30am and cross-country at 1.30pm.
