WHAT a setting for a hunt, Humewood Castle in Wicklow, commonly known as the ‘Garden of Ireland’. And it was so true when the Shillelagh Foxhounds met at the nearby Talk of the Town Bar in Kilteegan with the first draws at the castle grounds which was the home of the Fitzwilliam-Hume family since 1637. The building of the present castle was completed in 1870.
