I HAVE been hunting with the Limerick Harriers since I was a small boy and have many happy memories through the intervening decades. Despite the fact that I am currently sidelined with an arm in a cast, I hoped to be represented at my local meet on St Stephen’s Day. By a happy coincidence, it was also the day chosen by my son, also Richard, to make a return to the hunting field after missing a couple of seasons. He was going to be well mounted on my grey.
