MAYO's Cameron Hanley and Cas 2 have been called into the Irish Nations Cup squad for the Nations Cup of Belguim which takes place this Friday. Hanley replaces Tipperary’s Greg Broderick and MHS Going Global (ISH).

HSI's show jumping team manager Robert Splaine said: "I spoke to both Greg and team vet Pat Meagher about the matter. Pat explained to me that MHS Going Global has met with a minor setback and as a result should not line out at Lummen. Cameron and Cas 2 had a good result last weekend in the 1.60m Grand Prix in Hagan and we are fortunate to be able to call on such a combination," he said.

The Nations Cup of Belgium will see the first point scoring Nations Cup for Ireland. Each country in the top division is allocated four-point scoring Nations Cups out of the eight Nations Cup shows in the series. Countries can compete in other Nations Cups in the series but their results at these shows will not contribute to their league points.

The squad of five from which four riders will be selected to jump now is, (in alphabetical order):

Wexford's Bertram Allen riding Molly Malone V

Waterford's Anthony Condon riding Aristio

Mayo’s Cameron Hanley riding Cas 2

Tipperary's Denis Lynch riding All Star 5

Meath's Cian O’Connor riding Good Luck
