Canford Cliffs got his second winner when the Richard Fahey-trained filly Holy Grail made a winning debut over five furlongs on soft ground at Ripon on Friday evening. She was bred by Duncan McGregor, she is out of Dashing Beauty (by Daggers Drawn), and her dam is a half-sister to the stakes winners Dashing Colours (by Be My Native) and Dash Of Red (by Red Sunset). The mare is also a half-sister to the dam of the Group 1 placed juvenile Group 2 winning sprinter Captain Marvelous (by Invincible Spirit). Canford Cliffs (by Tagula) stands at Coolmore Stud.

Soul City, a son of Elusive City (by Elusive Quality), stands at Haras du Saz in France, and the classic-placed Group 3 scorer got his first winner when Be Bop Tango won the five furlong maiden at Catterick on Tuesday evening. The Karl Burke-trained colt cost €8,000 at the Osarus September Yearling Sale, and he is the second foal out of the sprint winner Divine Poesie (by Enrique).
