Armum (by Society Rock) got off the mark at the second attempt when scoring over six furlongs at Chester. The Jamie Osborne-trained bay is out of Good Clodora (by Red Clubs), she was bred by Tally-Ho Stud, and is a half-sister to Group 2 Flying Childers Stakes winner Ardad (by Kodiac).

The then Robert Cowell-trained chesnut Chica La Habana made a winning debut in the valuable Hilary Needler Trophy Fillies Conditions Stakes over five furlongs at Beverley, adding to the tally of Tweenhills Farm & Stud's mile Group 1 star Havana Gold (by Teofilo). She was bred by the partnership of Herberstown & Diomed, she is out of the Group 1-placed dual listed scorer Esloob (by Diesis), and her grandam is the classic-placed Group 1 Yorkshire Oaks heroine Roseate Tern (by Blakekey).

Also notable on Saturday was the second-place finish of Unfortunately (by Society Rock) in the Listed Prix La Fleche over five furlongs at Maisons-Laffitte. The Karl Burke-trained colt was only beaten by a head by Ardenode, with the first-crop Penny's Picnic (by Kheleyf) colt Mister Picnic third.

Juvenile Group 1 star and Haras De Grandcamp stallion Dabirsim (by Hat Trick) struck again when the Matthieu Palussiere-trained filly Cead Mile Failte took the conditions race over five and a half furlongs at Dieppe. She is out of Wave City (by Elusive City), who is closely related to 2009's Group 1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches (French 1000 Guineas) heroine Elusive Wave (by Elusive City).

The Red Jazz (by Johannesburg) colt Jedi Master made it two wins in two days when taking a novice median auction race over five and a half five furlongs at Wetherby, again justifying favouritism.

Late Tally-Ho Stud stallion Society Rock (by Rock Of Gibraltar) also added to his tally when So Hi Society won over six furlongs at Chepstow. The Archie Watson-trained filly was bred by the partnership of Robert Ryan, Brendan Quinn and Joan Quinn. She is a half-sister to the seven-time scorer Lilac Lace (by Captain Marvelous) and her dam, Lilac Mist (by Spectrum), is out of a half-sister to the Group 1 winners Loup Sauvage (by Riverman) and Loup Solitaire (by Lear Fan).

Ballyhane Stud's Red Jazz (by Johannesburg) added to his tally when Jedi Master won over six furlongs at Thirsk. The Richard Fahey-trained chesnut, 8/15 favourite and a length and a half clear of his closest pursuer, is a €27,000 Goffs Sportsmans Sale graduate. He was bred by Eithne McDonnell and his winning dam, Misrepresent (by Distorted Humor), is out of Halory Leigh (by Halory Hunter), a Grade 2 winner at eight and nine furlongs at Churchill Downs.
