Bred by Robin and Scarlett Knipe, the 78,000gns Tattersalls October Yearling Sale graduate is out of Crown (by Royal Applause) who is a half-sister to the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes runner-up Cochabamba (by Hurricane Run).

  • Coolmore Stud's Requinto (by Dansili) got off the mark when Porta Nuova made a winning debut in Italy. The €37,000 yearling buy is out of five and a half furlong listed scorer Samaden (by Ad Valorem), which makes her inbred 4x3 to Danzig (by Northern Dancer). Her grandam Salpiglossis (by Monsun) is a half-sister to the Group 2 Premio Regina Elena (Italian 1000 Guineas) heroine Sadowa (by Lomitas).

  • Biz Power made a successful debut in Italy, giving his Coolmore sire Power (by Oasis Dream) another first-crop winner. He is out of listed scorer Biz Bar (by Tobougg), which makes him a half-brother to Italian classic and Group 1 hero Biz The Nurse (by Oratorio), to last year's Group 2 Gran Criterium scorer Biz Heart (by Roderic O'Connor) and to juvenile Group 3 winner Misterious Boy (by Arcano).

  • The Irish National Stud's Dragon Pulse (by Kyllachy) got his third winner when Decapulse scored over five furlongs at Maisons-Laffitte. Trained by Jean-Vincent Toux and bred by the partnership of Mary Davison and Debbie Kitchin, the €6,000 Goffs Sportsman Sale graduate is out of Decadence (by Singspiel). The mare is a half-sister to the blacktype-placed pair Penny Drops (by Invincible Spirit) and Prompter (by Motivator) and she is out of Penny Cross (by Efisio), a stakes-placed half-sister to Group 2-winning miler Priors Lodge (by Grand Lodge).

  • Group 2-winning sprinter Sayif (by Kheleyf) got off the mark when his Mick Channon-trained son Sayesse was a wide-margin winner over six furlongs at Brighton. The colt was bred by Llety Farms, which is where his young sire stands, and his winning dam Pesse (by Eagle Eyed) is a half-sister to the Group 1 Racing Post Trophy scorer Kingsbarns (by Galileo).

  • Dalham Hall Stud's Group 1 star and shuttle sire Helmet supplied the first two home in the five furlong novice event over five furlongs at Bath, bringing his total to four. Running for the second time, odds-on favourite Kreb's Cycle is trained by Richard Hannon, he was bred by Michael Fennessy, and he is an €85,000 Goffs Orby Sale graduate. He is the first foal out multiple French winner La Noe (by Nayef), who is a half-sister to last year's Listed Norsk Kriterium scorer Bostar (by Poet's Voice), and his grandam, Snow Gretel (by Green Desert), is a stakes-winning half-sister to the ill-fated classic-placed Group 2 scorer Snow Ridge (by Indian Ridge).
