RACING at Maisons-Laffitte last Sunday was also of a high quality. In just two months, Finche has progressed from a winner of a newcomers’ race to a Group 2 colt as he won the Prix Eugene Adam-Grand Prix de Maisons-Laffitte in a convincing way from the favourite Afandem, the his stablemate Avilius, Volfango and Phelps Win.

Owned and bred by Khalid Abdullah, the son of the legendary Frankel was racing for just the third time so he looks to have a bright future. André Fabre has no future entries for Finche at the moment but one would expect the colt to turn out next for the Group 2 Prix Guillaume d’Ornano at Deauville, together with the runner-up.
