NONE of the four runners were able to keep a clean sheet in the CNCJ*, but racking up a good one/two was Borris-based junior Lucy Hancock. Riding the winning Payback, Hancock carried four penalties from the show jumping, but still turned the tables on her dressage leader Coppenagh Spring Sparrow, who tipped two.

With only one clear round from the four starters, the show jumping was also influential in the CNCP**. This honour fell to Lorna Murphy and Tiktok Copper, who ultimately gained a five-mark advantage over second-placed Brian Kuehnle riding Tullibards Boom The Groom.
