HEATSEEEKER died recently following injuries received while out in his paddock at Harris Farms in California where he was about to embark on another season at stud. His fee was set at just $3,500, reflecting the level of success in his new career which began at Hill ‘N’ Dale Farm.

He moved to the west coast of the USA in 2012 and he was far from a failure as a sire, being responsible for about nine stakes winners since his first crop started racing in 2012. His runners have earned more than $6 million, and while these figures may seem on paper to be impressive enough, in the tough stallion world of the USA they would be considered only average at best.
