THE well-supported Harangue and Benny In Milan landed a bit of a touch for Kildare trainer Peter Fahey at Fontwell on Thursday.

Harangue, as big as 10/1 in the overnight prices, was sent off a 7/2 joint favourite in the opening two mile five fulong handicap hurdle of which he ran out an easy 12-length winner in the hands of Leighten Aspell. Two races later Benny In Milan did the business for favourite backers in a two mile three furlong handicap hurdle. Sent off at 5/2, the six-year-old gelding was given a good ride by Tom O’Brien, who lost an iron briefly after a mistake at the sixth. O’Brien stoked up the son of Milan after the second last and the pair went on to win by six lengths.
