BALLYCASEY starred in a treble for trainer Willie Mullins as he picked-up the feature race on the last day of the Killarney August Festival. The Rich Ricci-owned nine-year-old registered his first victory for 21 months as he defied top weight in the MSL Cork Mercedes-Benz Handicap Chase.

Having showed signs of a revival when third in the Galway Plate on his latest start, the 13-8 favourite was sent on by Ruby Walsh before the sixth fence and won cosily by three and three-quarter lengths from Rightville Boy.
