Bertram Allen

Bertram Allen was also on the winning Irish side at St Gallen, and helped Ireland to runner-up spot in both Dublin and Hickstead. Great performances in Hong Kong and Doha set him up early in the year and other highlights included winning the Mercedes Benz Championship with Molly Malone in Hamburg. He finished 6th in the final Global Champions Tour rankings after another brilliant season during which he joined British legend, John Whitaker, to clinch the inaugural Global Champions League title. He recently posted a big win with Dino at the German Masters in Stuttgart.

Cian O’Connor

Cian O’Connor was on two winning Nations Cup sides, at Wellington and St Gallen, and in the runner-up team at Dublin, jumping double-clear with Good Luck. His other season highlights included wins at Aachen, Dublin and Spruce Meadows, taking the Leading Showjumper of the Year at the HOYS in Birmingham and his second-place finish in the Million Dollar GP in Ocala. This month he posted a Speed win at the GCT in Doha and finished third in the World Cup qualifier at Stuttgart.

Denis Lynch

The highlight of the year for Denis Lynch was his fifth-place finish at the World Cup Final in Gothenburg where the brilliant All Star never touched a pole. Other major results included a win in Basel and runner-up placings in both the Grand Prix and World Cup qualifiers in Leipzig. He was a member of the winning Irish team at St Gallen and the second-placed side in Dublin, and he finished a strong fourth at the recent World Cup qualifier in Lyon.

Greg Broderick

Greg Broderick was on the winning Nations Cup team at St Gallen where he also finished fourth in the Grand Prix. With MHS Going Global he jumped double-clear to help Ireland to second place in the Aga Khan Cup before heading to Rio de Janeiro for the Olympic Games where he just missed the cut into the closing stages, finishing 50th overall. He was on the team that finished 5th at the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Final in Barcelona in September where he was runner-up to Darragh Kenny in the Grand Prix.
