A LARGE crowd turned out in Portmore EC for the 34th final of the Half Bred Horse Breeders Society’s three-year-old loose jumping championship where the top honours went to Brendan McSorley’s Beach Ball filly.

Lanaken gold medal winner Ger O’Neill from Kilkenny kindly judged the event last Wednesday at the Aghalee venue. O’Neill, who rode Killossery Kaiden (ISH) to victory in Belgium in the six-year-old final last September, had the tough task of judging the 30 horses who came through the qualifiers to the final.
