RIDERS in the Connaught region where out in force last weekend as Loughrea Agricultural Show played host to three Connaught Leagues. In the 1.15m Hygeia Connaught Development League, victory belonged to Evan Flynn when he delivered the winning round with Harry Beau Bay, while Ronan Costello took victory aboard Grainne Costello’s Annestown Clover Concorde in the 1.25m Eurohome.ie Step Up league. Later, in the 1.35m Sven Hadley Transport Connaught Grand Prix League, riders took on the Paul Duffy-designed course.
