BERTRAM Allen remains Ireland’s highest placed show jumping rider on the Longines world rankings, maintaining his seventh place position in the latest standings published by the FEI.

Britain's Scott Brash is still the top-ranked rider in the world, with America's Beezie Madden moving up one place to second, while Germany's Daniel Deusser has dropped one place to third. Belgium's Gregory Wathlet jumps six places to fourth while Switzerland's Steve Guerdat has dropped nine places to 14.

Tipperary’s Denis Lynch has moved up nine places to 20 while Co Down's Conor Swail rises three places to 40.

Offaly's Darragh Kenny drops six places to 55, while Co Meath's Cian O’Connor moves up to number 65. Mayo's Cameron Hanley (88) and Cork's Shane Sweetnam (90) are Ireland’s remaining riders in the top 100.
