The 10th annual Land Price Report reveals land prices fell for the second year in a row

THE Land Price Report 2016, edited by Shirley Busteed, was published by the Irish Farmers Journal last week and here we reproduce the vital statistics of each county in Ireland.

The report reveals that the average price paid for land in 2016 was €8,771/acre. This represents a drop of 1.6% on the 2015 price, when the average was €8,914/acre and for the seventh year in a row, the national average has failed to reach €10,000/acre.
